My home air conditioner condenser fan is not turning even though the unit is on.Can this be repaired?

The unit is 10 years old. My problem is that when I turn on the A/C, air comes out of my vents, but not cold air. Outside the condenser is running because I hear the motor, but the fan in the unit is not turning. I replaced the cartridge fuses in the box mounted on the wall. Any help will be much appreciated

It seems that you have a fan motor in your outside unit that has failed. If you are handy, you can replace it yourself. If not, call a AC repairman and pay them to do it. Depending on the fan motor and your location the cost could be as much as $500. Where I live (the midwest) it would be more like $300. Good luck!
