About the Artist
Danae Wood studied art at BYU Idaho where she met and married her husband Mike. Together they have four children. Danae enjoys painting in many different mediums, but her favorite is watercolors because of the varying effects. Through her botanist father she has learned an appreciation for plants. She enjoys painting the vivid colors that flowers offer. She enjoys giving personal gifts to family and friends. Her home is full of items carrying uplifting thoughts and sayings. Her favorite is a quote by Mark Twain that hangs in her bedroom; "To get the full
value of Joy you must have someone to divide it with." It reminds her daily to strengthen her bonds with her
husband and children.
